Job Summary:
As a Ice Tea Spot Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of teas, coffees, and snacks to our customers. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed.
- Prepare and serve a selection of snacks, pastries, and light meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including the dining area, kitchen, and equipment.
- Ensure all food and beverage items are prepared according to health and safety standards.
- Handle cash and electronic payments, providing accurate change and receipts.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and reporting low inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations and a positive work environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Passion for coffee, tea, and food, with a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
