Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Dig trenches and lay pipes to ensure proper irrigation.
- Repair and troubleshoot irrigation systems, including valves, sprinklers, and timers.
- Perform regular inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or other issues.
- Adjust irrigation systems to ensure optimal water coverage for lawns, gardens, and plants.
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to coordinate irrigation needs for new installations or renovations.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in irrigation installation and maintenance preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and lawn care practices.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in irrigation work.
- Ability to interpret blueprints or diagrams for system installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with irrigation systems.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches and lifting heavy equipment.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
