Description:
You will serve as the front-line representative of the business, guiding patients and customers through the selection process with professionalism, compliance, and care.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Customer Service & Patient Education
- Greet customers and patients warmly, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information on products, strains, consumption methods, and dosage guidelines.
- Help patients understand Mississippi's medical program regulations, including qualifying conditions and product limitations.
- Answer product-related questions and assist with selecting items that best suit the patient’s needs and preferences.
2. Sales & Transactions
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process purchases.
- Upsell and recommend complementary products based on customer interests.
- Ensure all sales comply with state laws and daily purchase limits.
- Verify patient ID and medical card in accordance with Mississippi state requirements.
3. Inventory Management & Merchandising
- Restock and organize displays to ensure proper product visibility.
- Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
- Monitor product quality and expiration dates to maintain compliance and safety.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain strict adherence to all state regulations and dispensary SOPs.
- Ensure all sales and interactions are properly logged in the state’s tracking system (e.g., METRC or state-approved platform).
- Report any suspicious activity or compliance concerns to management immediately.
5. Facility Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Keep the sales floor, consultation areas, and back-of-house clean and organized.
- Follow sanitation protocols for handling products and interacting with customers.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and product storage.
6. Team Collaboration & Training
- Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on new products and industry developments.
- Offer feedback on product performance and customer preferences to improve offerings.
