We are seeking an experienced and motivated Ford Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department and support a growing Fixed Operations team. The ideal candidate brings strong dealership parts experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage inventory, purchasing, and customer satisfaction. This role directly supports our technicians, service advisors, and retail/wholesale customers by ensuring the right part is available at the right time.

Automotive Parts Manager Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control, purchasing, receiving, and stocking.
Oversee and coordinate the sale and delivery of parts to customers and technicians.
Maintain optimal inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Establish pricing levels and ensure competitive profitability.
Work closely with the service and sales departments to support their parts needs.
Monitor and manage parts returns, warranties, and core credits.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies.
Train, supervise, and motivate parts department staff.
Generate and analyze reports to track sales performance, inventory turns, and customer satisfaction.
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
Automotive Parts Manager Requirements:
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., Autosoft, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.).
Effective analytical and communication skills
Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Minimum of 3 years in service department
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Positive, friendly attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Nice to have Skills:
ASE Parts Specialist Certification or equivalent.
Experience with dealership management systems.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
