Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer that will be assisting with the production and improving efficiency. This role will be starting off on a contract with the possibility to get extended long-term, depending on performance and workload. Responsibilities:· Assist other engineers in the development and testing of vehicle systems and components. · Continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency.· Prepare equipment and test setups. · Analyze and interpret test data, preparing technical reports. · Build and modify vehicle prototypes based on engineering specifications. · Troubleshoot and resolve issues with vehicle systems and components.· Made hands on modifications to the equipment.Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree is a bonus but not required· Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment · Mechanically inclined· Continuous improvement experience · Knowledgeable and comfortable following procedures such as checklists· Critical thinking, ability to come up with solutions and document failures will be a big part of this position as production ramps up.
