Xpress Tax & Biz Solutions is a professional tax firm seeking experienced, detail-oriented Tax Preparers for the upcoming tax season. This role is ideal for individuals who understand compliance, accuracy, and ethical tax preparation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare individual tax returns (W-2, 1099, Schedule C, dependents, credits)
Conduct accurate client interviews and review documentation
Ensure IRS due diligence and compliance on every return
Enter and review data accurately in tax software
Maintain organized client files and notes
Communicate professionally with clients
Meet tax season deadlines
Qualifications:
Active PTIN (required)
Prior tax preparation experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of basic tax laws and credits
Professional and ethical work standards
