Founding General Manager for Home Services Needed

Recoat Revolution is a home services franchise that refinishes wood floors at a fraction of the time and costs of traditional floor refinishing processes.

We are seeking a General Manager to join us at the ground level and help build the Recoat Revolution business in the Nashville market.

This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, customer-centric focus, professional, and a passion for building a business from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader who wants broad business responsibility, including P&L management, team development, and sales growth. You'll work closely with ownership to learn the service, establish and scale sales channels, and provide excellent service to our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

-Project Estimates: Conduct in-home consultations with customers to assess flooring restoration needs, provide accurate project estimates, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

-Sales Funnel Management: Oversee and optimize an inbound lead sales funnel, ensuring timely follow-up, lead nurturing, and conversion to booked jobs.

-Customer Service & Communication: Manage customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain clear, professional communication to ensure high customer satisfaction.

-Estimate Follow-Up & Job Scheduling: Follow up on estimates, secure bookings, and coordinate job schedules to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

-Team Management: Lead and manage a team of floor technicians, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain high-quality service delivery.

-Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, quality control, and adherence to safety and industry standards.

Career Growth Path

You will start out selling and working a small number of booked jobs → transition to leadership role managing technicians and projects → focus on sales development, team management, and business growth (typically within a nine months)

Required Qualifications:

-People management experience, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams

-Customer service and/or sales experience, with a track record of building strong customer relationships

-Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on skills

-Consistency and customer service excellence

-Ability to work independently, exercise sound business judgment, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

-Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Valid driver's license with clean driving record (local travel required, we will supply a van)

-Clean background check

-Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional

-Physically capable of handling equipment

-Can start January 5th and able to travel to St Louis for training 1/19-1/23

Preferred

-Non-smoker (brand standard)

-Clear communicator

-Familiarity with basic technology tools (i.e. word processing, excel, email) and CRM proficiency

-Knowledge of construction, flooring, or cleaning services is a plus

Compensation

Base salary: $50,000-$60,000. Additional performance-based compensation of $20,000-$30,000. Total on target compensation of $70,000-$90,000.
