Weve been selling headsets online and over the phone since 1997. Were a fast-paced company focused on Customer service and support, with offices in San Francisco and Nashville.

We opened our Nashville office in November 2009 and it's both a shipping and Customer service center, now accounting for nearly half of the company. In the Bay Area, we were one of the fastest growing privately held companies twice, and were also a two-time winner of the "100 Best Places to Work" award.

THE JOB:

Our Headset Advisors (that's what we call Customer Service Reps) receive incoming calls and emails from existing and new Customers and offer unparalleled Customer Service to create and maintain great Customer relationships. The ability to create an emotional connection with a Customer on the telephone and via email is a must for this position.

Most of our team members work 8am-4:30pm and our team members work an 8 hour per day, 40 hour per week shift. We also offer a 4-day work week (8 hours per day, 32 hours per week), allowing those team members to take off one day each week (It doesnt have to be the same day!)

YOU:

Don't worry if you know nothing about headsets; positive attitudes matter the most to us! If you have excellent telephone communication and listening skills, and you sound great on the phone, then we'll be happy to train you on everything you need to know. However, it will be important that you are a fast learner, who is eager to develop and grow new skills quickly. It's helpful if you have good typing skills.

To be a Headset Advisor for Headsets.com, you need strong attention to detail and possess a high amount of patience, because your phone will ring at you all day and a lot of our Customers require product support. Scheduling is dependent on the needs of our Customers, so we want Team Members who are consistently on time with a high degree of reliability.

WHERE:

Our Nashville office is located on Air Lane Drive near the Nashville airport. Admittedly not one of the hippest neighborhoods, but it does offer the benefit of being on a hill (helpful during floods) and close to Donelson with some lunch options.

PAY:

You bet! We figured we wouldn't get many volunteers no matter how good the job is. We start at $17.50/hour; paid vacation, health and dental all start after three months as well.

OTHER BONUSES/PERKS:

From time to time we offer additional bonuses, profit-sharing and options in the company. Headsets.com is an advocate of community involvement and we offer two days of paid non-profit work a year so you can choose a way for you to help your community and be paid your regular wages for those two days. We normally spend two to three weeks getting to know the folks who are looking to join the team “ this includes a few phone calls, and a couple of in-person meetings.
