Since its founding in 1979, SWA has developed a professional team of salespeople, estimators, project managers, installers, and support staff who deliver beautiful and inspiring environments in which learning, healing, and discovery occur.
Where we are located: Our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility is in Nashville, TN with three regional offices in both Tennessee and Florida. We perform projects across the Southeastern US. This role is based out of our Nashville, TN office.
The job: We are currently looking for the ideal candidate for the Estimator position.
Job Responsibilities: In this role, the Estimator will be responsible for:
Building qualified proposals on our scope of work in the various healthcare, education, laboratory, and millwork projects.
Reviewing and understanding architectural documents (architectural drawings, specifications, addendums, RFI’s, etc.).
Managing bid proposals from the initial bid invitation until the project is set up and handed off to the Project Manager.
Communicating with vendors, our salespeople, and customers.
Working with technology including Microsoft Office (emphasis in Excel and Word), OnScreen Takeoff, and Bluebeam.
Traveling minimally to visit vendors and customers.
