Universal Robotics, a state of the art A.I. robotics company, is seeking an experienced system integration engineer to become part of a team implementing automation solutions that support and enable Universal's software products. Must have passion for the effort and a strong work ethic. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
⢠Develop automation layouts and electrical/mechanical designs for system integration projects
⢠Program/debug PLCs and HMIs
⢠Program/debug vision/AI guided industrial robotics
⢠Work with and direct teams on installs
⢠Develop engineering requirements and templates
⢠Build documentation on engineering efforts for scalability
⢠Understand and communicate requirements with Universal engineering management and software engineers
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
⢠Experience in industrial/logistics focused system integration
⢠Direct experience in field installation
⢠Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience OR 7+ years of work experience in engineering
⢠High proficiency with 3D and 2D CAD, both mechanical and electrical
⢠Experience with at least one programming language
⢠Basic industrial electrical knowledge
⢠Aptitude for hands on work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
⢠Experience directly in industrial robotics and automation
⢠Project/technical management experience
