The Emotion and Anxiety Research Lab at Vanderbilt University is looking for military personnel who have been experienced combat trauma during their time at war.
Purpose: To examine the effects of cognitive processes on experiences, thoughts, and emotions.
Duration:1 in-laboratory session (3 hours) and 1 week of remote data collection (2–5 minute surveys sent in the morning, afternoon, and evening).
Tasks: Interview, Questionnaires, Computerized Tasks.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age 18-60 years
War veteran exposed to combat trauma
Proof of military service
Fluent in English
Do not have any of the following conditions:
o Traumatic brain injury
o Bipolar disorder
o Attention-related disorders (e.g., ADHD)
o Substance use disorder
o Pervasive developmental disorder
o Psychotic disorder
o History of central nervous system (CNS) disease
