The OpportunityDelaware North Sportservice is hiring for an Assistant Catering Manager to join our team at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Assistant Catering Manager, you will partner with the Catering Operations Manager to ensure all F&B events at Bridgestone Arena run efficiently to create memorable experiences for guests.PayMinimum – Anticipated Maximum Salary: $49000 - $64900 / yearThe advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Responsibilities
Lead training, scheduling, and supervising of team members from the catering department
Monitor food and beverage orders produce daily sales and accounts receivable reports
Prepare operational reports, and keep records of purchases, requisitions, and liquor logs
Monitor customer service feedback and develop standards of service that are shared with the catering team
Assist with menu pricing strategies for optimizing cost and control
Develop and maintain positive client relationships
Support other areas of the business as requested when catering operations are slow.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in a hospitality environment
Knowledge of food preparation, inventory, and cost control measures
Excellent verbal communication and supervisory skills
Ability to analyze and make data-driven decisions
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with constant bending and other repetitive motions
Ability to stand for extended periods of time including outdoors in all weather
