Research, coordinate, plan and comply with regulatory requirements for Caterpillar Insurance Company, insurance affiliates and the Caterpillar enterprise.

Responsibilities

Participates in the identification of Compliance risks and Governance issues, and the development of resolutions to address them.

Draft and coordinate communications related to compliance issues and regulatory changes.

Review, research, and interpret new statutes, regulations, and bulletins from various insurance and other regulatory agencies.

Recommend and coordinate implementation of new processes and changes to current procedures.

Ability to handle regulatory compliance audits.

Ability to perform legal research, to understand compliance issues, and to direct resolution of issues.

Knowledge and ability to apply insurance underwriting skills to diverse lines of business.

A 4-year college or university degree in Risk Management and Insurance or minimum of 4 years exempt experience in an underwriting compliance or similar position responsible for insurance industry decision-making.
