DescriptionBusiness Analyst IIILocation: Candidates must live within 50 miles of an Elevance Health location.Build the Possibilities. Make an extraordinary impact.Responsible for serving as a liaison between IT and the business and is responsible for translating moderately complex and varied business requirements into executable User Acceptance Test (UAT) Plans. Will communicate directly with all levels of business and IT partners to manage and facilitate the execution of the UA Test Plans including the documentation and tracking of root cause and resolution of identified observations ensuring quality product and business approval within planned release schedule.How you will make an impact:
Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Knowledge of Agile/Safe practices.
Knowledge of claim processing.
Knowledge of financial systems & operations.
Basic SQL skills.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $69,120.00 to $124,416.Locations: California; Colorado; Hawaii; Nevada; New York; Washington State; Jersey City, NJIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
