Job DescriptionResponsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature.U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.The Graduate Intern will work together with a team of researchers on the implementation of exploratory devices and integrated circuits for logic and memory.Responsibilities include performing lab tests of circuits and simulations of analog computing systems.The main direction of the project will be exploratory circuits for solving computationally hard problems.The project will utilize and enhance the skills and capabilities in scientific analysis, problem solving, synthesis of simulation and experimental data, effective communication, and collaboration within the team.This internship has a 3 month duration.QualificationsThis position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field with 6+ months of experience and or a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field with 1+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in creation and utilization of lab setups for electrical characterization.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in simulation of dynamical systems and CMOS circuits.
