Key Responsibilities:Hands and feet support to deliver following services:

Provide support with basic imaging on large rollouts, troubleshooting of hardware problems

Support on escalation and resolution (if applicable) of software problems

Ensure that installations, relocations, and upgrades of software and hardware components

PC configuration for new and existing employees and/or equipment in accordance with standards for the specified groups

Basic cellular wireless support (email configuration)

Repair or replace failed or defective parts; the replacement of components includes parts supplied by projects supported by Technology Services

Receive and respond to work requests for scheduled activities within a pre-determined timeframe

Installation / removal / replacement of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and basic network hardware

Report maintenance actions and comments in the work request

Hardware Inventory Management; Maintain an accurate inventory of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and network hardware, including tracking serial numbers, locations, and warranty information

Remote Desktop Support: Offer remote desktop support services to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for employees working remotely or in satellite offices, ensuring seamless access to IT resources and systems

Develop and maintain positive customer relations and professional service support of systems, software and hardware supported

Respond to NOC after hours for network outages and possibly restart switches as a quick fix attempt and escalate unresolved issues

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of Desktop Support experience

Ability to work on-site (24/7 support capacity)

HS Diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Good communication and organizational skills

Strong customer orientation

Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) knowledge

Dell, HP and Lenovo certifications to repair desktops and laptops Microsoft Office Knowledge (MS OUTLOOK configuration)

Windows wireless configuration knowledge

Basic Network Wiring and Infrastructure knowledge
