DescriptionOne of our clients is looking for a Field Service Technician on a contract-to-hire opportunity with a conversion rate of $16/hour. This will be a hands-on type of support role on location at client sites. Mileage expenses would be reimbursed at $0.43/mile.Shift: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm with an hour unpaid lunch Traveling to and from customer locations providing hardware break/fix and software support on desktops/laptops/printers Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs desktops, laptop, servers, and printers Reviewing and updating service tickets Contacting and scheduling service with customers Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s) Works under general supervisionRequirements 1 year plus supporting Desktops, Laptops, and Printers. Specifically, break/fix experience with desktops, laptops, and printers. Reliable Transportation (This is a driving position – reimbursed accordingly) CompTIA A+ Certification Strong copier skills (hardware) Copier Multi-Function Devices Break/Fix experience Workstation Break/Fix experience (Windows 7/WIN 10, Workstation Desktop/Laptop Hardware) Familiarity with networking equipment – switches and routers, cabling Customer Service Professional Appearance and Demeanor Strong written and verbal communication Skills Ability to work without direct supervision – organized and motivatedRobert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
