Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the financial services industry, located in Nashville, Tennessee, 37210, United States. The selected individual will contribute to various HR-related tasks, including managing employee relations, ensuring compliance, and handling FMLA requirements. The role involves working with multiple software applications such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and Dayforce.Responsibilities Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records. Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. Handle FMLA and other leave administration including tracking hours used, maintaining related documentation, and answering any related inquiries. Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for various HR functions. Work with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for effective talent management. Implement and manage the Ceridian and Dayforce systems for benefits administration. Develop and implement benefit functions including health, retirement, and other benefits offered by the company. Facilitate effective communication within the workplace, ensuring a smooth flow of information between HR and other departments. Develop and implement strategies to improve employee relations and overall job satisfaction. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now software Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and Dayforce systems Understanding and experience with Benefit Functions Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of Compliance requirements and procedures in HR Ability to manage Employee Relations effectively Experience with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous Strong problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment Knowledge of current HR practices and legislation.
