Team leads are positioned around our facility and tasked with ownership of a station, area, or process. We are a young startup who values flexibility and proactive problem-solving in our team.
Manages small groups of associates within an area to execute standard jobs within the plant; from running equipment to fulfilling customer orders.
Responsible for learning your station and dive into the details of it's idiosyncrasies. Troubleshoot issues that arise, operate independently to complete job tasks.
Make recommendations on warehouse improvement, and drive improvement initiatives.
Maintains a focus of 5S philosophy and be a driver and advocate of 5S maintenance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase performance.
Assist with training new employees.
Adhere to NomNomNow work rules, GMPs, safety processes, procedures, and rules, as well as; comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
Accurately and thoroughly account for physical inventory within the plant and on inbound/outbound trucks.
Read and understand BOLs and manifests to ensure inbound/outbound trucks are accurately loaded.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years’ experience working in a manufacturing, shipping/receiving, inventory control, production or fulfillment environment
Forklift Certification (Preferred)
Team Leadership: 1 year (Required)
Comfortable using computers, tablets, scanners, and other hardware
Stand-up Forklift certified (Required)
WMS and SAP/Netsuite experience (Preferred)
Shipping, receiving, cycle counts, audits, picking inventory and inventory research (Required)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to work well independently, self-motivated, and as a team member
Able to meet the physical requirements of the position requiring heavy lifting up to 100 lbs., carrying tools and supplies, kneeling, stooping, and standing on feet for long periods of time
Able to work primarily in temp controlled environments ranging from 0-50 fahrenheit
Authorized to work in the United States
