The position will lead multiple projects, with cross-functional teammate representation. The position will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, execution, and implementation of these projects.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities :The role of the project manager encompasses many activities including:
Planning and Defining Scope
Manage the development of project documents from project charter through project closure with the use of PMI methodology (Project Management Framework)
Task Planning and Sequencing
Resource Planning: identify all the internal and external resources whether required for completing the project successfully
Develop the project schedule; plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables
Control management
Measuring: evaluate project progress toward objectives
Evaluating: Determine the cause of deviations from the plan
Correcting: Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement corrective actions to address deviations
Manage Project Documentation
Maintain and store project documentation in project repository
Monitoring and reporting project progress
Create weekly status reports and provide regular project updates to Leadership
Facilitate project meetings
Create structured agendas, meeting minutes, and clear outcomes to accomplish results
Risk and Issue management
Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and issues. Works with the team to avoid risks, mitigate issues, and devise contingency plans
Vendor Management
Coordinate and monitor vendor activities and administer vendor deliverables and finances
Change Management
Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, or budget
Communication
Plan and execute an efficient communication strategy for ensuring effective communication with all team members and stakeholder
Present results to executive team and other members of the organization
Status report and communicate across the organization to both internal and external stakeholders
Effectively communicate risks/issues and associated mitigation plans
Coaching and Guidance
Effectively communicate project expectations and guidance to the team members about every aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act efficiently
Qualifications:Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years project management experience
Leadership skills; capable of managing a collaborative project team
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities needed to navigate ambiguity
Results oriented with the ability to drive a project team in an effective manner
Strong organizational skills
Proactive with a sense of foresight to plan long-term projects
Ability to motivate teammates
Ability to work well independently as well as in teams
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Must be flexible and adapt to change
Ability to lead multi-location teams/stakeholders
Preferred Experience:
Proficient with Microsoft Project
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Experience managing projects aligned with the PMI framework
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Possesses skills in Vendor Management
Research, evaluate, recommend, & contract with vendors
Manage vendor performance and results
SharePoint experience
Microsoft Teams experience
Business analyst experience
Microsoft Access Database experience
