The purpose of this position is to perform clerical functions in the shipping department.Responsibilities:1.    Complete pick sheets (assign product to scheduled packaging loads).2.    Take appointments and schedule trucks to pick up product.3.    Assist in monthly inventory4.    Assist loaders by helping find product5.    Update and maintain the label inventory6.    Attend scheduled safety and GMP meetings.7.    Enter daily move sheets.8.    Schedule and maintain inventory on packaging supply trucks9.    Update the Shift Supervisor on packaging supply status10. Review orders and select product for each load following FIFO.11. Enforce DOT weight regulations on outbound trucks.12. Authorize truck drivers to enter the facility.13. Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies.14. Perform clerical duties as assigned by Plant Management.
