Description Robert Half is excited to announce a Project Manager opportunity with one of their clients: As the Senior Project Manager I, you will be responsible for overseeing all project aspects from inception to completion, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring alignment with Parallon Project Controls and Standards. Your role will require strong stakeholder management skills, proactive communication, and efficient problem-solving to deliver successful project outcomes within established timelines. Some travel may be necessary based on the job requirements.Duties (included but not limited to):
Organize project activities into manageable tasks and develop effective strategies for project execution as per the project plan.
Lead the creation of strategic documents including Project Charters, Education and Communication plans, and detailed project plans, presenting updates to stakeholders as necessary.
Define and communicate clear project scopes, motivating team members towards project goals.
Manage relationships with multiple business owners and team members to drive project activities forward.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across projects.
Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely status updates according to established timelines.
Provide coaching and support to team members, ensuring clarity on tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
Prepare high-quality deliverables in alignment with project requirements.
Facilitate toolkit creation to support field-based implementations.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Experience in healthcare, hospital systems, supply chain, workforce management, or financial services is advantageous.
Previous experience with HCA, HealthTrust, or Parallon is a plus.
Certificate/License:
PMP certification preferred, but not required.
LEAN and/or SIX SIGMA certification is advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficient in project management methodologies, applying Parallon project controls to ensure project success.
Ability to gain commitment and acceptance from stakeholders, adapting communication styles as needed.
Proficiency in PC/technical skills including Microsoft Office applications (OneNote, OneDrive, Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint), online collaboration tools (WebEx, WebEx Teams), and project management tools (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner).
Demonstrated tactical execution abilities, effectively utilizing project controls to manage projects.
