Our client,

a world leader in recorded music and publishing, is hiring for a

Systems Engineer role to join their team

remotely in Nashville, TN! You would be supporting a global enterprise infrastructure by applying expertise in server and cloud management.

Responsibilities:

Identify and resolve problems,
Support configuration assistance to application teams deploying at public cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, & Google Cloud Platform)
Conduct detailed capacity and performance analysis
Provide primary escalation point for the Application teams and Sourcing Provider(s) for operational issues
Conduct Root Cause Analysis for any critical service issues
Monitor infrastructure operational alerts (environmental, server performance and devices)
Maintain and monitor systems to identify and eliminate issues/potential bottlenecks
Identify system vulnerabilities and report for future use implementing corrective actions

Desired Skills & Experience

Proficient in Linux or Windows systems
Experience in traditional server management and cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google)
Proficient in
Chef and Terraform
Understanding of virtualization technology
(VMware, Hyper-V)
Experience with scripting for automation development and reporting (
nix Shell, PowerShell, Python, PHP, etc)
Familiarity with L
AMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and Microsoft (Windows Server, IIS, MS SQL) technologies
Clear understanding of AWS-specific services and terms
(EC2, S3, RDS, AZ, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail)
