You’ll be part of a world where passion meets nutrition, and every tail wag is a testament to our dedication to dogs—and the people that love them.WAREHOUSE & INVENTORY MANAGERJob Description:We are looking for an experienced Warehouse and Inventory Team Manager to be responsible for directing the inventory control and material handling units for two different Nashville facilities.This associate will manage a team of supervisors, team leads, and associates as they go about their day-to-day operations. These tasks include conducting inventory and cycle counts, loading/unloading trucks, managing stock levels for all production and fulfillment departments, and keeping all areas of the warehouse in well-organized order. Working with team leadership, developing and implementing plans to improve warehouse organization, accuracy, and team performance.This position will report to the Director of Operations and will reside in the Nashville area.What are we looking for?Education and Professional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management, or other relevant fields

Preferably 5+ years of experience in progressive management levels for inventory management/warehousing teams

Solid understanding of inventory management practices and common tools (spreadsheets, inventory/warehouse management systems, communications software)

Knowledge/Experience

Proven experience working cross-functionally to support various team initiatives.

Proficient in the use of various technologies, such as Excel, Google Sheets, and various inventory management systems.

Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strategic thinking.

Ability to plan, organize, and problem-solve.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Thrives in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Driving team culture as a collaborative, supporting department, with an emphasis on food safety.

Effectively manage inbound and outbound deliveries, warehouse layout, labor cost, and inventory levels for both facilities while supporting the production and fulfillment departments.

Must be flexible and adaptable as the business model continues to evolve.

Hires, coaches, trains, and develops warehouse associates, providing both informal and formal job performance-based feedback.

Keep team development and retention a top priority. Manages P&L of the warehouse and allocation of the budget

Responsible for operational expenses and shrinkage.

Ensure accuracy of weekly and monthly inventory counts.

Understand and manage virtual inventory systems, including IMS, WMS, and spreadsheets.

Support and drive strategic improvements to the inventory function (new system rollout, cultural initiatives, and tools).

Connect cross-functionally as the warehouse representative, partnering and supporting the customer department, production, fulfillment, QFS, and supply chain.

Develop and implement systems designed to improve the internal performance of the warehouse team, as well as its usefulness in a matrix structure.
