We are seeking a dynamic Front and Back Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain the high standards that set us apart.

Job Summary:

The Front and Back Supervisors will oversee daily operations in both the front and back of the house to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team while maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Front-of-House Supervisor:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.

Ensure that guests receive exceptional service from the moment they enter the bistro until they leave.

Manage seating arrangements and waitlists to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.

Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Train and develop front-of-house staff to uphold service standards and enhance their skills.

Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

Back-of-House Supervisor:

Supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure efficient and smooth kitchen operations.

Oversee food preparation and presentation to meet quality and safety standards.

Coordinate with the culinary team to plan and execute menu items and specials.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving stock as needed.

Address and resolve any issues related to food quality or kitchen operations.

General Responsibilities:

Create and implement operational procedures and standards to improve efficiency and service quality.

Conduct regular staff meetings and provide feedback to ensure team alignment with the bistro’s goals.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including customer feedback, to identify areas for improvement.

Assist with scheduling and payroll management for front and back-of-house staff.

Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.

Strong understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Food Handler’s Permit, Manager’s Certification) are a plus.
