Olivia Cocktail & Oyster Bar is hiring servers, full and part time available
Candidate must be able to provide kind, warm & welcoming elevated service.
Duties and Responsibilites:
Acknowledge and greet every guest table in a timely fashion
Deliver exceptional, personalized service to every guest
Resolve customer issues and complaints in an effective manner, retain customer satisfaction
Prep, stock and maintain work station and assigned seating section according to company specifications while adhering to health department regulations
Process and expedite payment with accuracy and efficiency
Educate guests on origins, preparation and presentation of the products we offer and guide guests through the menus and dining experience
Be mindful of kitchen and restaurant flow
Take care to accommodate guests with special needs, including allergy and dietary restrictions
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and equipment; perform opening and closing duties assigned
Pace each course and keep lines of communication open with your table/chef/bartender/management
Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly
Requirements:
Must be 18+ years old
Must have ABC Card
1-2+ years of full-service restaurant service experience preferred, including experience with various POS systems
Basic math skills
Availability to work evenings, brunch and weekend shifts
Must excel in communication, conflict resolution and promotional sales abilities with restaurant guests and be professional, friendly, positive, punctual, teamwork oriented, energetic, organized, thorough and teachable
Excellent verbal and written skills
The ability to stand on your feet for 6+ hours
The ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
The ability to lift 35+ pounds
Must adhere to training of all policies, manuals and procedures put in place by Pelican & Pig
Proficient in the English language
Basic knowledge of food, beer, wine and spirits preferred
Ability to comply with health department regulations
Ability to take direction from management
