We are seeking Medical Administrative Assistant to help us with our growth. The Medical Administrative Assistance will be responsible to maintain the medical records of the people we support and ensures that medical policies and procedures are followed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Medical Assistant will track all medical appointments and follow up appointments of the individuals served.

Medical Assistant will maintain all medical documentation in the electronic records system.

Medical Assistant will review all medication administration records to ensure all standards are being met.

Medical Assistant will track and maintain records of all current prescriptions that have been ordered.

Assists in completing the Human Rights Packets for review.

Assists with maintaining emergency information sheets for each individual served

Contacts and follows up with medical offices to acquire the needed records.

Maintains a good working relationship with the Department Directors, staff, and individuals we support.

Accepts performance-based criticism and direction.

Assists Office Staff in maintaining updated information in our online database system

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to perform essential job functions above.

Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with others.

Temperament to communicate with a variety of personalities in a tactful, pleasant, and professional manner.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Thorough and detail oriented.

Working knowledge of office policies, practices, and procedures.

Knowledge of office computer applications.
