The technician is responsible for thoroughly cleaning sharp and blunt medical instruments and equipment exposed to biohazards including: blood products, tissues from surgeries. The washed instruments are to be sterilized and packaged. The operating room tables, chair, lights are to be disinfected with alcohol-based products, UV lights. At the end of the day, the technician is also responsible to clean rooms, doors, floor, etc.
