Private multi-doctor eye care practice is looking for an outstanding individual to join our team at Donelson EyeCare! We are a busy, multidisciplinary (O.D./M.D.) practice who is seeking a full-time, Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant. A great smile, polished customer service skills and a heartfelt desire to make patients happy are a few of the talents that will help you succeed in this position. You must love working with people, be genuinely positive and enthusiastic and be 100% committed to providing legendary customer service!
Hours: Full-time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ophthalmic Technician Duties:
Workup of patients for exam
Record accurate patient history
Refraction
Visual Field
Visual Acuity
OCT
Fundus Photography/Optomap
Auto-refractor and Lensometer
Topography and Tonometry
Maintain the strictest patient confidentiality
Clean all instruments once used
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Qualifications and experience in the following is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right individual.
