Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, a national leader in plaintiffs' litigation, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and proactive Legal Nurse Consultant with trauma informed care and/or behavioral health background to assist our attorneys and paralegals on highly sensitive sexual abuse, eating disorder, and addiction cases, often involving minors. This position is currently a hybrid in-office position within the San Francisco Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires a strong clinical background and on-line research skills with an emphasis on medical research, in addition to organizational and interpersonal skills. Duties include, but are not limited to: the review and organization of medical records, the analysis of medical record summaries, client intake and interviews, and research projects for potential new matters.
Minimum qualifications include a B.S. in Nursing or a related field with 5 years’ experience in a clinical or critical care unit.
Some legal experience is desirable, but not required.
Ideal candidate would be a team player who has the ability to multi-task in a busy and fast-paced environment.
Must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This is currently a Hybrid onsite position, with three days per week required to be in office.
