Position Summary:
We are seeking a fast-paced, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our janitorial team for theater cleaning. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the theater, including auditoriums and lobbies
Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
Dust all surfaces, including railings, furniture, and fixtures
Clean theater seating and remove debris between showtimes
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
Maintain janitorial equipment and cleaning supply inventory
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Requirements:
Must have own reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be detail-oriented and take initiative to ensure thorough cleaning
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Flexibility with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Prior cleaning/janitorial experience preferred, but not required
Work Environment:
This position involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion. Cleaning may occur during late-night or early-morning hours depending on theater schedule.
