An EarthSavers fleet mechanic will diagnose, maintain, and repair our small fleet of collection trucks. This position requires that you have an advanced knowledge of gas and diesel engines, air brake systems, transmissions, hydraulics, drive trains, suspensions, valve systems, engine chassis, and body control systems. Welding experience is a must. You also will perform routine housekeeping duties related to tools, materials, shop, work areas, and washing trucks, as well as having administrative duties, such as keeping maintenance/warranties logs, purchasing parts and communicating with drivers regarding vehicle condition and needs. This position requires that you have your own standard set of tools. We provide other tools and equipment specific to our trucks and shop. We require at least 5+ years of experience with heavy-duty diesel vehicles with hydraulic equipment. ASE Certifications preferred but not required.

EarthSavers has a low-stress, no-drama culture. We work well together. Even though we have nine trucks, we run no more than 3 trucks any given day, which gives our mechanic time to diagnose, order parts, and repair within the timeframe needed to solve issues correctly and safely.
