RJ Wherry is looking for smart and motivated individuals who have an interest in the woodworking industry and making it a career!
Positions are open for machine operators, cabinet and custom builders, solid surface fabricators and anyone who likes working with their hands.
New employees will be taught basic skills that are specific to the industry. Employees will learn how to construct high-end wall panels, reception desks, nurse stations, conference tables, cabinets, hardwood designs, doors, modern furniture, metal work, cabinet hardware and more. Employees will float between the plant and the field learning all aspects of completing a project. Applicants will start with basic items and progress up as ability and responsibility is shown.
Applicants must work well with others and be able to work well with supervisors.
Applicants must be willing to work overtime, nights and weekends when needed.
Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver license.
Applicants must be willing to report to work within a 20-minute drive of Nashville when needed for installation.
Applicants must be well groomed, polite, have good hygiene and be able to speak professionally to customers.
Travel is not required but is beneficial.
