Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our custodial team. The Janitorial/Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas of the facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Sweep and mop hallways, restrooms, cafeteria, and gymnasium
Vacuum classrooms and other carpeted areas
Remove trash and recyclables from assigned areas and dispose of them properly
Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition
Perform other cleaning duties as assigned to support a clean and safe facility
Qualifications:
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and follow directions
