Tennessee Stone and Design is seeking a Machinist to draw and create custom parts within our manufacturing facility. Candidates will utilize, and should be familiar with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, MasterCAM, or similar software.

We are expanding our production for our line of portable brick ovens and baking stones, and looking for energetic, professional, and positive people to join our growing team in White Bluff, TN.

The position requires you to work at our facility in White Bluff, TN. We are currently on a schedule of 4 ten hours days per week, but work hours and schedules may change from time-to-time based on the Companys needs. We will do our best to limit your commutes to 4 days per week or less.

Requirements:

At least one prior professional experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, MasterCAM, or similar software, or have a college degree in CAD/CAM drafting.

Solid communication skills and professional attitude

Ability to multi-task and delivery projects on time

Experience with designing and/or machining 3D solids and surfaces

Experience with physical fabrication and materials (metals,woods, plastics, adhesives, etc.)

Key Functions and Expected Performances:

Apply knowledge of machine processes and capacities to determine tool requirements and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts.

Identify, analyze, and resolve any process conditions and problems.

Assist supervisor to design, develop and implement scheduled machining maintenance procedures. Perform some die maintenance, preventative maintenance, machine troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment requiring the use of any or all shop maintenance equipment such as drill presses, lathes, milling machines and surface grinders.

Use a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform assignments.

Dismantle equipment to remove and repair defective parts.

Assemble, maintain and test machines and equipment (with maximum voltage of 480VAC).

Perform preventive maintenance requirements on tools, fixtures and equipment and record maintenance programs.

Perform record-keeping duties to document machine maintenance schedules, work orders, purchases and inventories.

Assist and train production personnel on preventative and troubleshooting maintenance procedures.
