We are looking to hire a dedicated Construction Field Assistant. You will be responsible for aiding our Construction Managers in overseeing the completion of several construction projects by completing a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up tools and equipment.
Helping with documentation, such as submitting project reports and maintaining records.
Facilitating communication between the office and field staff to enhance efficiency and project clarity.
Ensuring all safety guidelines and regulations are followed on the construction site.
Supporting construction managers in scheduling and planning project tasks and timelines.
Ensure our subcontractors have all the supplies they need to complete a project.
Monitoring inventory of materials and tools, and coordinating orders as necessary.
Coordinating with subcontractors and other professional services as required.
Conducting site checks and reporting any issues to construction management promptly.
Participating in project meetings and providing updates on logistics and timelines.
Assisting in the enforcement of health and safety protocols to minimize the risk of workplace accidents.
Performing hands-on work that may include lifting, loading, or other physical tasks.
Help coordinate employee schedules and time records.
Perform basic office and administrative duties.
Must be physically capable of aiding with construction as needed
Must be able and willing to provide a variety of office tasks
Must be incredibly organized and hard-working
Must be a strong team player
Education and Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant certifications such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety training can be advantageous.
Previous experience in construction or as a project assistant is strongly desired
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.
Must be bilingual (Spanish and English)
Proficiency in using basic tools and technology related to construction management.
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid Driver's license
