Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Part-Time Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our apartment complex. The ideal candidate will be personable, responsible, and committed to providing exceptional service to our residents. This role is pivotal in ensuring our community runs smoothly and continues to be a wonderful place to live.
Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for current and prospective residents.Manage tenant communications, including addressing inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests.Coordinate and supervise routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring property upkeep and safety standards.Oversee lease agreements, collect rental payments, and handle lease renewals.Maintain accurate records of tenant information, maintenance activities, and financial transactions.Collaborate with contractors and vendors to schedule services and monitor service quality.Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with property policies.Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants and retain current residents.Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including tenant orientations and final inspections.Requirements:Previous property management or relevant administrative experience is preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with property management software is a plus.Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.Reliable transportation for on-site visits and errands.Hours:Part-time position: approximately10- 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate tenant needs and property requirements.Compensation:Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
