Full Time Field Service Technician - Central Region

Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) a Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Full Time Kiosk Technician for our Central Region.

You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on third party break fix kiosks, key duplicating and tag engraving kiosks. The territory consists of the Central Region and is a 40 hour per week position. The starting pay is $21.00/hr, a car allowance and a company credit card will be provided. The territory would cover the CE Region consisting of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri.

Job Description:

Primary contact with our customer locations.

Travel 80% expected

Break-fix restocks kiosks, orders product, cleans, does preventative maintenance, and responds to service and repair dispatches as needed.

The schedule for routine service calls is flexible within the week, however Saturday and Sunday service is sometimes required (we are a retail company).

Responsibilities:

Break -Fix, re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).

Perform Installs/ Swaps/ECO ATM Coverage/Training/Cover Open Territories

Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.

Install of machines in the local/regional area

Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.

Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in the Kiosk Tech’s possession.

Conduct store meetings and interact with store management on a routine basis to ensure a good working relationship with our clients and promote the machine to improve revenue.

Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.

Skills:

Basic trouble-shooting skills

Mechanical and electro-mechanical skills

The ability to follow written and oral instructions very carefully.

Basic computer skills and basic spreadsheet and email skills are also required.

Training specific to the kiosks will be provided to all new employees.
