We are a creative technologies design/build firm that creates custom animated lighting (LED) installations around the globe. We recently installed a system in the new Vanderbilt stadium consisting of many linear LED bars—addressable LED strip connected to power supplies and data from LED controllers. From time to time, these elements need to be repaired and serviced. LED strips need to be repaired, power supplies need to be replaced, and issues need to be debugged. It's a straightforward system for someone who is well-versed in working with addressable digital LED strips.
We are looking for an experienced LED technician who has a proven track record working with this technology. This person will need to be familiar with how to use a multimeter to debug malfunctioning addressable LED systems. They will ideally be adept at cutting and soldering pieces of LED strip together. They will be comfortable working with electrical systems and working from a ladder. They will have their own basic electrical and maintenance tools (including an 8ft ladder, multimeter, and soldering iron) that they can use to conduct repairs.
