Videographer / Editor / Producer wanted for dietitian YouTube channel!

My name is Randy Santel, and I've been a professional eater on YouTube for 14.5 years, since March 2010. My food challenge videos are on YouTube, Facebook, and most of the other platforms. https://www.RandySantel.com. My girlfriend (who is also a professional eater) and I moved to Forest Hills near Radnor Lake earlier this year. I already have a video editor for my main eating challenge channel, as well as an editing team for my TikTok, Snapchat, and square Facebook videos. My editor lives in Utah, and therefore I'm searching for a local Nashville area resident to help me with the new channel I plan to start up soon, after getting home from the Scandinavia & Finland food challenge tour I've been on since early July. We'll be back at the end of this month (August 30th) and want to start the channel at some point in September. October can work too.

Believe it or not, I finally became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) at the end of last year in November 2023. I completed the required bachelor's degree via Missouri State University in May 2019, and the 1200-hour internship through Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in May 2022. I passed the national credentialing exam on my first try, last November. My master's degree will be finished up at the end of this Fall 2024 semester. Now that I'll be home from my summer tour with lots of videos already filmed for the main channels, I'm ready to start up my new channel as an RDN. The initial videos will document my weight loss and follow a similar pattern as what I documented on my main channel in past years. Consistently eating healthy, weightlifting, and lots of spinning and cycling. I don't throw up all my food challenges, so there is a lot of weight management required as part of my current career. Over the next year or two, I'll be transitioning from being a pro eater to being a social media dietitian. I've been working on a book and nutrition education system since 2012, so that will be involved, and I'll eventually begin public speaking as well. Right now I'm searching for the initial person who will help me get the new channel up and going, allowing me to retire as a professional eater (I founded and still part-time operate https://www.foodchallenges.com).

I'm interested in working with an individual, and video production experience is of course required. Interest in food, nutrition, fitness, and health would be fantastic, but that is not required. Some sort of passion and excitement about the opportunity is required, since you'll be a major part of the overall goals and mission, which we can discuss in person. One video per week is the initial goal, making this position part-time at first, most likely. If you are interested, you can help me with some other food challenge related videos that I need a local in-person videographer to assist with. I have lots of ideas and things I want to do, which require a videographer, that I cannot film on my own. My girlfriend "Katina Eats Kilos" could use a videographer for some local Nashville videos too, if interested. Helping us with our channels could bring you up towards full-time.

This is obviously an informal job posting, which is what the position will be as well. A self-directed and self-motivated person would be best, since I cannot and will not micro-manage. Regarding pay structure, I'm open to whatever works best for you that makes both parties happy. I've listed employment type as "contract" since this would be a 1099 contractor position. Hourly, bi-monthly, and other options can all work. I did not want to add this under "gig" since I'm looking for it to be more than that. Please let me know if you are available and interested in the opportunity, and within a reasonable distance from the Nashville area. Traveling can become involved if you are open to it, and the goal is for you to grow as the channel and our reach does. Funding will continue to come from my food challenge career until we are able to get everything up and going for my future role as a social media dietitian, helping people with basic fundamental nutrition, fitness (I'm ACSM-CPT), and weight management. If you have experience, I'm guessing you have your own equipment, but I also have gear as well if needed. I do own a drone that I haven't taken the time to learn how to use yet. You are welcome to use whatever editing software you want, and I'll help you however I can, to make your job more efficient, fun, and effective. If you have experience with reels and vertical content, we can discuss opportunities. The video work is most crucial, since I'll handle the actual channel itself and posting the videos and other content produced. Thanks for reading this, and I look forward to hearing from people interested in helping me
