Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Farm Equipment Operator to clear/maintain our expansive farm property. The primary responsibilities include bush hogging, timber removal, and managing vegetation across our large farm setting. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in operating heavy machinery including but not limited to D4 Caterpillar Dozer, 700k John Deere Dozer, 330CL Volvo Excavator, and skid steer.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bush hogging, timber removal, and other vegetation management tasks efficiently and safely.
Operate and maintain heavy machinery including D4 Caterpillar Dozer, 700k John Deere Dozer, 330CL Volvo Excavator, and skid steer.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.
Collaborate with farm owner to ensure tasks are completed according to schedule and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating heavy machinery, specifically D4 Caterpillar Dozer, 700k John Deere Dozer, 330CL Volvo Excavator, and skid steer.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced farm environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Excellent communication skills.
Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
