As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties. Your main focus will be ensuring the efficient operation of water supply, drainage, and other plumbing systems. You will either work independently or alongside a team, interacting with homeowners, contractors, and colleagues to provide high-quality plumbing solutions. A company vehicle and gas card will be provided to support your work.

Responsibilities:

Repair and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties, including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances.

Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and potential problems.

Diagnose plumbing issues and implement appropriate repairs.

Estimate project costs and materials needed for plumbing repairs.

Collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and team members to plan and complete plumbing tasks.

Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used and time spent on each project.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial plumber.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.

Proficiency in repairing and maintaining various plumbing fixtures and appliances.

Ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.

Experience with estimating project costs and materials.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid plumbing license/certification is preferred but not required.

In addition, you will be required to stay active in a BNI Connect networking group that meets at least once a week. Membership is paid for by the company, and you will be responsible for connecting with other business owners to promote the company and build relationships to gain new business.
