Fedex ground contractor In Murfreesboro, TN looking for reliable, skilled route drivers. Delivering to Franklin, Nolensville Area. We deliver to both businesses and homes. Full Time and weekend Drivers needed. This is a physically demanding position, so you must be willing to lift heavy packages. We pay quarterly safety bonuses, paid vacations and offer company match 401K.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have at least 1 year of verifiable truck or van driving experience.
A good driving record including none of the following:
Reckless driving,
DUI/OMVI,
Hit and Run,
Excessive Speed as defined by DOT (15+ miles over),
No Preventable accidents,
No more than two moving violations within the last 24 months.
Ability to lift heavy objects, and work and drive in all types of weather.
Ability to use GPS, follow maps, and use a handheld scanner
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and procedure.
Excellent and prompt attendance each day scheduled.
Excellent work ethic and the ability to think ahead.
Experience as a previous route delivery is a plus.
Candidates are required to pass a DOT Physical and Drug screen as well as a criminal background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Starting Salary: $100-$120 a day during training
$140-$160 after completion of training-Daily pay may very with experience.
