Responsibilities – The role of the dispatcher is to coordinate on-time delivery of all towing jobs and to fairly distribute opportunities to all Drivers on duty.
Hours: Nights and Weekends
Dispatcher answers customer calls to dispatch Wrecker Drivers through online Dispatch System. The dispatcher is the primary contact for all customer facing interactions. Dispatcher must be able to handle situations and service the customer in professional manner. Dispatcher will gather and verify specific details for the dispatch records and must be able to communicate with drivers throughout the lifecycle of the tow job.
Monitor and track each tow job for completeness on time.
Dispatcher will interact with customers, drivers, Police and other Management.
Must assist in customer payments and collection of towing accounts which includes invoicing and providing customer receipts as needed.
The perfect candidate has the ability to multi-task when the environment trends to a faster pace.
Administrative/Bookkeeping Tasks:
o Retrieve background checks/MVR reports as needed
o DOT Compliance
