This is a manual truck. We are small, 12 trucks, been around for 30 years. We like to shake hands and can even do a paper application. We're pretty old school. We are a pretty laid back environment.
We had a 20 year employee retire (sad face) and have had some trouble covering his run. We need a Class A CDL driver with 2 years experience to do local work. We need a flexible driver. This is local work so nothing is written in stone.
Right now we are trying to cover a Bowling Green shuttle run. It leaves out of Smyrna, Tennessee between 11:00 and 1:00 in the afternoon. It drop and hooks in bowling Green at 5 pm Monday-Thursday and 3 pm on Friday. Typically it just goes up to Bowling Green but every now and again it may have a stop in Portland and/or another stop up in Kentucky. Again, this is a local truck driving job and nothing is written in stone.
When you drop and hook up in Bowling Green you come back to Smyrna off Almaville Road and unload. That is a live unload. This run gets about 30 to 35 hours per week. If you're willing to come in a little early, we can routinely offer an hour or so there, we can also offer an occasional Saturday run to add to the hours. If you have flatbed experience, we can even offer an occasional flatbed load that goes from Smyrna to Nashville and comes back. No tarping.
The last few drivers we have gotten are just not flexible. They want to tell us what they will and will not do. We just need a Class A CDL truck driver that can be flexible.
$26 per hr with a bump to $27 in 30 days
$27 with HazMat and bumped to $28 in 30 days
We are not going to woo you with a fancy terminal or a bunch of empty promises. We can get a driver rolling pretty quickly. We will bring you in and do about a 3-4 Hour orientation.
Please have 2 years Class A CDL experience, a good MVR and favorable back ground check. You can do a bit of a meet and greet and come check things out to make sure we are a good fit for you. If we're not, that's cool too.
For those not wanting to do a paper application
