Tractor Town, Inc. is looking for a responsible, hardworking team member be responsible for most of our online content and efforts. You would be working as a Online Content Manger or Media Manager. Our company buys, sells and brokers farm tractors, equipment and parts. So if you have some agriculture knowledge that would be a big advantage too but not neccesary.
Having good or better knowledge of website design, social marketing, social media, e-commerce sales (eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, etc.) would be a advantage, but if you're fast and a quick learner that can all be learned on the job. You would need to have a good core knowledge of computers (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Windows 8 / 10, etc.) and greater than 40 wpm. Writing, editing and proofreading are very important as well. If you have great basic skills like wpm, writing, spelling, etc. but limited website design skill for example we would be willing to work with and help train the right candidate at a lower starting pay.
A majority of the time over 70% would involve doing entries of our listings and items being sold or brokered. We are looking for an individual with a proven record with regards to professionalism, being dependable and trustworthy. A farm or agriculture background and knowledge would be helpful but not necessary. If you enjoy a show like American Pickers you'd be working in a similar line of work since we buy, sell and broker items - so it can be fun too if those things are of interest to you.
Starting pay or salary is negotiable base on experience. In general for below average experience it would be $10.00 to $13.00 an hour and $13 to $17 a hour for good experience and background. Plus the person in this position will have listing and company incentives to push total pay to anywhere from the $12 to $18 a hour range depending on starting base.
