Description We are in search of a Controller (Plant) to join our team in Old Hickory, Tennessee. This role involves a range of duties from providing financial advice to site leadership, evaluating operational costs, and championing cost control efforts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining strong internal controls and compliance monitoring within a team environment to optimize profitability and maintain controls.Responsibilities: Provide financial advice and support to site leadership, aiding in the daily operations and maximizing site profitability Evaluate operational costs, create and value financial metrics with proper visibility, and lead cost control efforts Maintain a level of expertise within the department that meets demanding requirements, including cost accounting, financial analysis, commercial support, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls Ensure conformity with all company accounting requirements and provide all reporting and management information to relevant personnel in a timely manner Develop and oversee a financial management system with strong internal controls and compliance monitoring to protect the company’s assets Evaluate both long and short-term strategies, providing recommendations and advising on the consequences of certain actions or business decisions Collaborate within a team environment to optimize profitability and maintain controls Provide leadership, motivation, and training to foster expertise and harmony within the department. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role Proficient in 3M, Eaton, and Epicor systems Advanced knowledge of Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Expertise in handling Accounting Functions Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in preparing and managing the Annual Budget Proven experience in Auditing Strong understanding of Budget Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
