Position SummaryThe Vice President – Market Access National Accounts will lead efforts with national payers for current and pipeline products and drive payer and health policy initiatives that impact market access for the Caris Life Sciences product portfolio. This role will manage key relationships with industry trade associations and lead tactics and communications in support of influencing reimbursement policies that directly impact market access. In partnership with the SVP of Market Access and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and the pipeline commercial team, the Vice President – Market Access National Accounts will also inform the development of favorable coverage policies, evidence generation, contracting, coding, and pricing strategies for pipeline products, ensure smooth transition of access strategies to appropriate business unit upon product launch, and partner with market access marketing to develop access tools and resources in support of the market access team.Job Responsibilities
Hit ASP goals for National Payers by line of business.
Sign in-network contracts with National Payers.
Manage BCBS Caresourcing relationship.
With medical policy team, drive improved medical policies and adoption of Caris’ tests.
Gain access and develop relationships to targeted National Payer key stakeholders from medical director, network management, and claims management.
Inform data development plan that produce meaningful clinical utility and health e-con publications that motivate payer customers to create/adjust medical policy.
Coordinate with key commercial leaders to develop relationships to drive advocacy from physicians to gain coverage and contracting with national payers.
Work with billing team to ensure that payers are paying according to contractual rates and build dashboard to share with senior leadership.
In partnership with finance, report on and achieve company accounts receivable goals and inform ASP, revenue forecasting for National Payers.
Ability to lead, manage, and prioritize strategies, initiatives, and workload independently and proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Support National and State legislative initiatives advocating for coverage of evidenced based backed bio markers for all cancer patients improving access and promoting health equity.
Coordinate reimbursement policy initiatives, including the development of corporate positions, internal and external communications on policy positions, and partnership with industry trade associations.
Lead strategic decisions in collaboration with market access leadership teams regarding trade association sponsorships and access-related meeting attendance in support of improved coverage and contracting for Caris’ products.
Establish goals and priorities across the product portfolio in partnership with market access leadership.
Collaborate with corporate office and external analysts in the execution of market research plans.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
10+ years of leading efforts to contract and influencing reimbursement policies at the national level, as well as experience developing payer coverage, coding, and pricing strategies in device, biotech, or diagnostic laboratory companies.
10+ years of demonstrated advancement in responsibilities and in direct or in-direct leadership.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the healthcare payer environment; including coverage, coding, payment, as well as how to develop, implement, and manage reimbursement programs.
Strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare product development and commercialization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Degree in Genetics, Public Health, Health Administration, Life Sciences, Business, or related field as outlined in the essential duties.
10+ years of experience in contracting and reimbursement policy at the national level, payer coverage strategy, and evidence development with large national payers or in biotech, device, or diagnostic laboratory companies.
Strong understanding of the molecular diagnostic testing market, including products, companies, and technology.
Experience leading sales teams and market access teams.
Oncology lab experience.
Annual Hiring Range$230,000 - $270,000Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
