JOB SUMMARYDevelops retail and commercial business with the primary goal of meeting the clients comprehensive financial needs resulting in expanded market share and increased profitability. Acts as overall sales manager for the branch through training, coaching, and development of branch staff.ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Leads the branch in a professional manner through supervision and coaching of branch staff; develops personnel with regards to service expectations, policies, procedures, and products.

Contributes to net interest margin through profitable loan production and/or profitable deposit growth; contributes to non-interest income and controls non-interest to drive improvement and/or growth.

Motivates staff to meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining exceptional customer service; clearly communicates performance expectations to each staff member and monitors performance.

Establishes and maintains relationships with outside professionals in the community; develops and strengthens relationships through follow-up with potential customers; generates and pursues sales leads through aisle time, public address announcements, over-the counter sales, and marketing campaigns.

Garners extensive knowledge of retail services, products, and selling techniques to increase cross-sell ratios; refers qualified customers to specialized sales forces.

Supervises staff to ensure accuracy; manages branch scheduling; administers security procedures; conducts monthly audits to ensure branch compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Attends company meetings and communicates pertinent information to staff; acts as the liaison between personnel and management; maintains branch reporting and profitability.

Performs daily duties that include opening and closing accounts, account maintenance, and various transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, stop payments, and wire transfers.

Maintains a working knowledge of relevant legislation and departmental policies as applicable and participates in personal and professional development; sets and achieves meaningful personal goals.

Executes all of the duties and responsibilities of a relationship banker with regard to client transactions; delivers exceptional customer service to both frontline staff and clients.

Influences hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions for all subordinates.

Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

: Associate's degree in business from two-year college or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Training

: Must have obtained Relationship Banker status, as well as completed the Assistant Manager program.
