Our firm handles timeshare disputes, and currently have about half a dozen that may be slated for litigation in Tennessee. In essence, we represent individual 'owners' with grievances against their respective timeshare developers. We need counsel to co-sign the pleadings and facilitate our appearances in State Court. In some cases we'll be appearing pro hac vice. In smaller cases we'll simply draft the pleadings and ask TN counsel to make all Court appearances. Because we represent the 'little guy' trying to operate cost effectively against big-money interests, the cost of local representation is obviously a serious concern. We will pay $500 per case to co-sign documents pre-litigation. If a given case is actually filed, another $500 would be forthcoming. Any court appearances required would be compensated at $200 per hour.
